I was born and raised in small town Oklahoma and spend most of my time with Jesus, with my family, and with a coffee in my hand. My mom says I have always been fascinated with cameras, and loved to snap pictures with her disposable cameras she would buy for vacations, summer camps, and holidays. My junior year of high school (2011) I saved up for a starter camera and started taking my friend's senior pictures, along with pictures of every other thing I thought was pretty. I went through 4 years of college only to cry to my advisor the last semester of my senior year and inform him that I didn't feel like I was doing what I was made to do, and all that I wanted to do was take pictures. (I finished my degree regardless). 6 years later, and here we are! I am still learning everyday, I have a degree I don't use because I chose to pursue happiness, and I still have a heart for capturing pretty things.

In September of 2016, my husband Cade and I welcomed our baby boy, Finn. Since Finn, I have been heavily motivated to capture the beauty of life through my camera lens, and my photography style has changed. I no longer want to only capture the posed, poised, and perfect shot. I want to capture the giggling shot. The shot right before two love birds kiss. The shot that screams "That's true love." I want to capture the raw shots, the emotional shots, and the shots that let the viewers peak into who you are just by the grin on your face. As your photographer, I will do everything in my power to document moments in time that make you grin, giggle, and fall in love all over again.
