Now What???
What to Wear, What to Wear?:
• Simple is better! Chaotic patterns are cute, but distract the focus from your pretty face!
• Color Coordinate: At the bottom of this page is a color palette chart to help with planning!
• Don’t: Wear all of the same colors when shooting with 2 or more people.
• Do: Incorporate the same colors. Do you have a maroon shirt? He should have a maroon tie, pants, hat, shirt WITH maroon, shoes. Try to pair the colors exactly!
• Create a style board! Pinterest and magazines are great for this! Clip your favorite looks and create your own look book. This way, when you shop for your session you know exactly what you’re looking for!
Tips and Tricks:
• Horizontal lines and circles sometimes make the focal point look larger, avoid these clothing types.
• If you wear makeup, wear more than usual, but DON’T over do it.
• Wear lotion. Sometimes legs and arms can look ashy in pictures and appears a different color than your glowing face. Lather up!
• Be on the lookout for places to shoot. The photographer is in charge of the session location, but I LOVE suggestions. I want to shoot the look YOU want!
• Don’t be late! Schedule a day that gives you plenty of time to get ready! You are paying by the minute and the time given for arrival is the perfect, selected start time from the photographer! I don’t want to rush you!
Payments:
-A 25% non-refundable deposit is due to hold your session date. If you don’t pay, that date is open for whomever. Make sure you choose your package and pay ASAP.
-The remaining 75% is due before the shoot. Either the week before, day before, or before the session actually begins. We cannot get started until the payment has been made.
-I prefer check or cash. Although, I do have a PayPal account for my far away clients.
Things to Bring:
-Powder for your face in case of red chilly noses or perspiration.
-A change of clothes for small children.
-Any props, DIY or store bought, are welcome! Feel free to get creative! Signs, chairs, pumpkins, bring it all! I love what you love!
After the Session:
-You will be given a password the day of your shoot. When your RAW pictures are uploaded, you will be given a link.
-From your link you will pick out the pictures that you want edited. The number of pictures to choose from depends on what package you chose.
-Email your chosen pictures to carlypm@okstate.edu.
-You can expect to have your final edited images digitally within 3 weeks of your session unless otherwise noted.
